Role and Responsibilities:
As a Waste Management Sanitation Worker, you will support daily environmental sanitation and waste handling operations across assigned collection routes and facility grounds.
• Perform physical removal and loading of municipal waste, recyclables, and bulky household items
• Operate semi-automated cart tipping lifters and hydraulic packing controls safely
• Execute daily truck washdowns, container sanitization, and equipment maintenance checks
• Ensure work zones and collection stops remain litter-free and safe for the public
• Assist drivers with vehicle backing guides, route spot checks, and navigation
• Strictly observe all safety protocols, high-visibility clothing mandates, and PPE usage rules
Required Skills and Experience:
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk continuously during shifts
• Comfort working outdoors across extreme temperatures and weather conditions
• High commitment to workplace safety guidelines and procedural rules
• Dependable attendance record and strong punctuality
• Ability to start work in early morning hours

• Previous experience in general labor, sanitation, landscaping, or warehouse work
