Position Summary & Responsibilities: The Waste Management Specialist serves as an operational technical expert overseeing environmental compliance, waste stream characterization, and customer container logistics. You conduct on-site facility compliance audits, analyze client waste volume metrics, ensure accurate EPA manifest tracking, and recommend cost-effective waste diversion strategies. Furthermore, you coordinate with dispatch teams to optimize specialized container deliveries and assist site managers during regulatory environmental inspections. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site presence across customer locations and facility depots (zero remote capability).
Qualifications & Benefits: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Logistics preferred. Requires 2+ years of experience in waste management, environmental auditing, or industrial logistics. Knowledge of EPA, DOT, and OSHA regulations is essential.
