Role and Responsibilities:
As a Roll-Off Truck Driver, you operate heavy roll-off cable hoist vehicles to transport, drop off, and haul open-top waste containers for construction, commercial, and industrial clients.
• Drive heavy roll-off trucks to deliver, swap, and haul large construction and industrial waste containers
• Operate hydraulic cable hoists, hook systems, and tarping systems to secure heavy loads safely
• Navigate construction sites, commercial yards, and waste facilities safely
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety audits in compliance with DOT standards
• Log load weights, delivery receipts, and route progress into onboard electronic terminals
• Ensure all hauled loads comply with weight limits and highway safety rules
Required Skills and Experience:
• Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake endorsement
• Clean driving record (MVR) and valid DOT medical card
• 1+ years of experience operating roll-off trucks or heavy commercial cable-hoist equipment
• Physical ability to secure heavy tarps, attach cable hooks, and perform vehicle walkarounds
• Strong safety focus and professional customer interaction skills
